Welcome to Playology CO! My name is Miss Michelle, and I'm thrilled to share passion for child development and education with you. With nearly a decade of experience multiple degrees in human development, education, and business, I believe in power of play to foster growth and learning in children. As a Colorado native, I love spending time outdoors, and I'm not at the center, you can find me homeschooling my daughter or exploring the beautiful mountains.

My name is Miss Serena! I have always had a passion for working with children. With many years of experience at Playology CO, I am excited to be back. I have a degree in Communication, with a minor in Elementary Education from UNCO. I also have many credit hours in child development and ECE. I love watching children explore their creativity and discovering new things they love! As a Colorado native, I love exploring the outdoors. When I am not working, you can find me with a book and spending time with my boyfriend and pets!

Before & Afterschool Lead

Miss Destiny is new to the classroom and teaching environment but don't let that fool you. She is a natural with the students and quickly become one of the favorites among all the classrooms. Destiny earned her classroom certification at the end of the summer 2023 and now is with us full time as our opener and 3rd grade classroom lead. While she is not at the center she enjoys relaxing at home with her dog.

We are thrilled to welcome Mr. Alvarado, affectionately known as Mr. A by the kids, to Playology! With over a decade of experience working with students from elementary to high school he brings a wealth of knowledge, particularly in supporting at-risk students with their educational and home needs.

Mr. A infuses positivity and fun into everything he does. When he's not at the center, he enjoys spending quality time with his wife and caring for his mother.

​Hi! I’m Amanda Lavender. I studied Early Childhood Education in college and have spent several years working in daycares with children from infancy to four years old. I love helping create an environment for children to learn, explore, and feel comfortable in. When I’m not working, you can usually find me reading, baking, or spending time with my husband and our two sons.
